Museum of Local History Tours

Docent-Led Group Tour of the Museum (1/2-1 hour)

  • Orientation about the city/town development of the Tri-City area (aerial photos)
  • Docent-led tour focusing on specific group needs

Details

  • $2 per visitor, or $5 per family
  • One-hour tour (there are picnic tables if you want to bring your lunch)
  • Tour times: make arrangements, see museum hours below

Docent-Led Group Tour of the Museum for Children (2 hours)

  • Orientation about the city/town development of the Tri-City area (aerial photos)
  • Docent-led and discovery tour of the museum
  • Activities related to Early Town Development life. e.g., farm life, branding, sewing, etc.

Details

  • $5 per student
  • One chaperone per every five students is required (no charge for chaperones)
  • Two-hour tour
  • Tour times: 10:00am – 12 noon, or 12 noon – 2:00 pm, Wednesday, Friday or by arrangement

Self-Guided Tour of the Museum with Parents

  • Orientation about the development of Fremont and the Tri-City area

Details

  • $2 per visitor, or $5 per family
  • Docent-led orientation to town/city development (aerial photos)
  • Self guided tour using a booklet with focus questions
  • Please notify the museum staff when to expect your students

Please notify the museum if a large group plans to visit the museum.
